In search of landscapes, in search of research, the exhibition “Another way” by Djos Janssens questions the territory in the broadest sense and explores it under different aspects. From one work to the next, the viewer seeks to apprehend a real or imaginary landscape, to envisage it pictorially through colour, symbolic or dreamlike diversion. The artist is part of the tradition of the landscape painter who, through the motif, explores a number of themes, both ecological and philosophical. Djos Janssens (°1964) is a multidisciplinary visual artist who lives and works in Liege. His works, always in search of meaning, have been exhibited since 1997 in galleries, art centres, museums and in the public space.
