Attentive to deconstructing the codes of our consumer society and its stereotypes, this artist, who works on the text and context of his in situ installations, returns here, on the one hand, to his interventions in various clinics and public and private buildings in the country, where he creates environments adapted to their users, and, on the other hand, under the heading of “painting”, to a set of montages and collages associating photography, drawing and typography, which are as many plastic proposals, sometimes ironic and sometimes poetic. Anne-Françoise Lessuisse and Philippe Van Cauteren respectively share an art historian’s perspective on these two sections, while Caroline Lamarche offers a sensitive reading of the artist’s permanent installations in hospitals.
